Oxford Centre for Genomic Medicine

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate degree educated individual (or equivalent experience) to join our Whole Genome Sequencing patient consenting service, based at Oxford Centre for Genomic Medicine. This is a clinical role ideal for someone with an interest in developing a career in clinical genetics, who has demonstrated public facing experience in a healthcare, care, or volunteer setting.

The post holder will work together with others to ensure all clinical and research paperwork follows required standards, and that samples are collated in accordance with required time frames. Training will be provided.

Please note that this is not a genetic counselling post, and does not lead to registration with the Genetic Counselling Registration Board/Academy of Healthcare Scientists/HCPC. Please see GCRB, AGNC and NSHCS websites for details on a career in Genetic Counselling in the UK.
