Sleep Services in Neurophysiology
An exciting opportunity exists to join this busy friendly department, predominantly in the Adult Neurophysiology Sleep Services.
This is a full time, patient facing, 37.5 hours, 4/5 days per week, Band 6 Clinical Physiologist post (part-time considered for the right person)
Main duties of the job
Sleep Physiologists:
Duties may primarily include: Home Video Telemetry Polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests. Actigraphy and Complex Ward Video Telemetry with Polysomnography.
Some cross over to the Neurophysiology Epilepsy Services may occur for Neurophysiologist experienced candidates. This may include Electroencephalograph (EEG): urgent portables, ambulatory, and Supervision of Trainees.
For Sleep Clinical Physiologists, opportunities to gain experience and qualifications in this area will be made available.
The hours may change subject to Service requirement and may include a day off every other Friday.
The successful candidate will be given in-house training to acquire the knowledge of department protocols.

- The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or
- The Science Council as a Chartered Scientist (CSci)
