Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary Head & Neck and Breast Oncology Teams in Oxford.
The Blenheim Head and Neck Centre brings together specialist surgeons from ENT, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Skull Base and Plastics backgrounds with the full range of supportive AHP teams. The team is a regional referral centre for major Head and Neck surgery including robotic techniques, running their own ward and outpatient area. Several members of the team have a national profile, keeping Oxford at the cutting edge of advances in research and practice.
The Oxford Breast Unit includes Clinical and Medical Oncologists, Consultant Breast Radiographer posts and support from our Breast Clinical Nurse Specialists, Non-Medical Prescribers and radiographers. The MDT is skilled and varied and there is a vibrant clinical research portfolio, along with interaction with the Early Phase Clinical Trials unit. There is flexibility within our Breast Service for candidates to specialise primarily in radiotherapy if they prefer, and the final configuration of the post will depend on the interests of the candidate
