We are excited to announce that The John Radcliffe Hospital will be expanding its Adult Critical Care (ACC) bed capacity in Spring 2022 and has an immediate and ongoing requirement for experienced Adult Critical Care Nurses at Bands 5 and 6. We are currently in the process of expanding our workforce by 100 nurses.

Main duties of the job

If you have previous experience working in intensive care as either a Band 5 or Band 6 Nurse we would love to hear from you, and apply now for the advertised Clinical Educator role!

The role will cover Critical Care at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital. Both units are staffed by one team and rotate between each site. The Churchill hospital is a cancer and hematology centre that cover specialist cancer care in addition to organ transplant and aftercare. The John Radcliffe Hospital (JR) is Oxfordshire's main accident and emergency site and Major Trauma Centre. The JR provides acute medical and surgical services including trauma,intensivecareand cardiothoracic services. It is part of Oxford University Hospitals whichis one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in the UK and has anational and international reputationfor the excellence of our services and our role in teaching and research.The OUH values are Learning,Respect, Delivery, Excellence,Compassionand Improvement and these underpineverything we do.

These positions are based at The John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital based in Headington, Oxford. Headington is roughly 3 miles from the centre of Oxford and has exceptional public transport to and from the hospital as well as onsite parking.
