Clinical Lead Dietitian - Cows Milk Allergy

Job summary

For the role of Clinical Lead for the Cows Milk Allergy service we are ideally looking for an individual with experience of leading a CMA service. The applicant should have extensive experience and skills in leadership and service development.

The role will sit within the paediatric dietetic team, and there will be support for the role from within the band 6 establishment. The successful post holder should have experience of engaging with stakeholders from a multitude of establishments, and have knowledge of service delivery in the field of paediatric community dietetics.

The role is currently based at the Royal Derby Hospital with working from home considered.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead a service to CMA patients in Derby and Derbyshire. We offer a variety of patient contact including face to face clinics, telephone clinics and video calls. We work closely with a wide multidisciplinary team including Children's community nurses, consultants, GPs, Speech and Language Therapists and carers.

You will lead the delivery of a comprehensive and effective evidence based dietetic service and be responsible for service development. You will be fully supported by the Team Lead and Dietetic Operational Leads.

We have an established student training programme for A, B and C placements, in which you will participate, and the department encourages innovation, CPD and professional development.Key Requirement of the Role:- Demonstrable experience working as a specialist paediatric dietitian.

- Clinical Lead experience would be preferred.

- Previous experience of service development.

- Leadership experience, or a keen interest to develop leadership skills.
