Specialist Oncology Dietitian

Job summary

We have an opportunity to join the Oncology dietetic team at UHDB .

The post holder will be involved working in across a range of oncology settings covering chemotherapy, radiotherapy, outpatients and acute oncology/ haematology/ palliative inpatients. With a range of other health care professionals involving MDT working.

Main duties of the job

You should have experience of working in the area of oncology patients in an acute setting.

You will have regular clinical supervision and access to relevant training. Involvement with supporting junior staff and support form senior staff within the department.

The wider team cover 5 hospital sites and the community.

The department consistently delivers high-quality care, with opportunities to develop your CPD.

We have an established training programme for student dietitians and apprenticeships with Coventry, Nottingham and Sheffield universities.
