Healthcare Assistant - Outpatients

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3, part time Healthcare Assistant in our multi speciality outpatient department to join our friendly team in Community Outpatients, this post will be based at Ilkeston Community Hospital, with a requirement to work at our other sites, Ripley, Heanor, Long Eaton & Ashbourne, if and when required.

As this vacancy is part time, 22.5 hours, we will not be able to offer sponsorship.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be flexible and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team involving a large number of specialities.

Previous outpatient experience would be desirable though not essential as we have a full induction programme.

The successful candidate will be required to show high levels of concentration and organisational skills along with excellent communication skills to ensure smooth and efficient running of clinics.

It is expected that the applicant will be rostered to work cross sites, so it is essential you possess a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
