Private Patient Secretary

Job summary
The posts main role will be to organise and oversee the management of the consultant's private clinical documentation and their accounts, and to provide a professional and comprehensive senior secretarial service to the management team.
You will provide a full range of confidential secretarial services including handling of mail, initiating, drafting and typing of all clinical correspondence, filing and diary management, so that the service runs smoothly.
Main duties of the job
To represent Derby Private Health/Trust and to liaise daily with several insurance companies and patients who are our stakeholders in a professional and reassuring manner.
To act as the primary point of contact for consultants and to build and maintain an excellent relationship with secretaries internal and external to Derby Private Health/Trust
Provide an efficient medical secretarial service with concise, accurate and timely presentation of work, completed as specified by consultants
To carry out all typing and general clerical duties in connection with the Consultants work at Derby Private Health, including typing of correspondence and reports, taking notes, filing, photocopying, audio typing, minute taking and accounts.
Typing and dispatching of clinical correspondence related to Private Patients requires a 24-hour turnaround to a high-quality standard.
