Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a flexible and motivated individual to join the Ilkeston Daycase Team as a Waiting List Co-ordinator.

This role involves providing an efficient waiting list service to the Consultants and their team in respect of NHS guidelines. This job requires a flexible approach as you will be working with or alongside other waiting list staff, Consultants and other teams as required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

You will require high levels of tact and diplomacy with the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively to enable day to day management.

Main duties of the job

- Point of contact for patients

- Input patient information onto various systems

- Responsible for the monitoring/selection of future waiting list patients

- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to management

- To escalate any urgent problems to the Waiting List Team Leader
