Job summary
Derbyshire Pathology are seeking a proactive and motivated Administrative & Project Support Officer to join our team. This exciting new role is based at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital site, and will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to the senior leadership team, as well as various ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills being comfortable in leading an office environment, combined with data analysis and communication skills.
We are looking for a candidate with an advanced level of I.T. literacy, experience of using a range of applications in both the coordination of day-to-day activities and the collating of data and reports. The candidate will be able to manage busy calendars, coordinate meetings & events, take minutes, and collate/present data. Previous experience working in a demanding administrative role is essential, whilst project support experience is desirable.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide a high level of general administrative support to departmental leads and assist in the co-ordination, scoping, and implementation of projects across all areas of Derbyshire Pathology. You will have the ability to manage project information systems, input and process information and generate reports, including collating informatics data and liaising with the Business Intelligence teams.
As the first point of contact for departmental enquires you will have excellent communication skills, and also support the delivery of projects as directed by the General Manager, and Deputy General Manager. This role has line management responsibilities for Admin Support at the Chesterfield site of Derbyshire Pathology.
