Job summary
To undertake decontamination science duties and assist (under supervision), the Senior Decontamination Technicians, in providing a specialised decontamination of medical devices service contributing to the clinical care of the patient.
Main duties of the job
Includes carrying out the receipt, disassembly, cleaning, disinfection, inspection of medical devices (surgical instruments), reassembly, packing, sterilisation, sterile product release. Recording all tasks onto the departments tracking and traceability system.
