Job summary
An excellent career opportunity has arisen within our Medical Secretary team for an enthusiastic and committed individual as a Support Secretary in Ophthalmology at Queens Hospital Burton.

The role will cover a wide range of administration duties and will often be the first point of contact for general queries and enquiries from a range of individuals including internal trust colleagues, consultants and patients.
Main duties of the job
- Typing and dispatching of clinical correspondence
- Administrative support to the Medical Secretaries, management team and attending consultants
- Answering the telephone and dealing with the query efficiently
- Liaising with other departments and also external parties when needed
- Maintaining the filing systems both electronically and pap
