Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individual to join our team in a Pathway Co-Ordinator role on a permanent basis.
We have 1 full time vacancy within our outpatient teams.
Eye Outpatients - 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00
You must have read the contents of the Job Description and feel confident that you are able to fulfil the requirements.You should be educated to a good standard of English to GCSE or equivalent and have an advanced level of IT literacy with experience of using a range of IT applications.
Main duties of the job
Anyone wishing to apply for this post must first ensure:
- You must already have a full understanding and knowledge of how to book and cancel appointments in Lorenzo.
- Have an awareness of work lists in both Lorenzo and E-Referral system.
- Be a competent user of Lorenzo.
- You must have an understanding of RTT and able to demonstrate this at interview, as well as successfully having completed the on-line RTT training.
- You must have demonstrable experience in a Band 2 administrative role (preferably patient facing).
- To provide an efficient waiting list service to the consultants and their team in respect of NHS work, working flexibly with or alongside waiting list staff, consultants and other teams as required.
- You must have a desire to support the Band 4 Team Leader with the day to day responsibilities of managing the team within which you will work; including training and mentoring of staff, carrying out appraisals, conducting return to work interviews and attending relevant meetings.
- During periods of absence, you must be prepared to deputise for your Team Leader, support will be provided where required.
