Job summary

We believe that every Medical Secretary working for us plays a key role in improving patient experience and plays a vital part in supporting medical staff with day to day duties. We're looking for an experienced, highly organised and committed individual who shares our values and wants to invest in continuously improving patient care and experience.

If you're an experienced Secretary looking for a new challenge in Urology and you , feel passionate about making a difference and have with a high level of attention to detail, this position in Urology is the position for you.

Main duties of the job

* Audio typing of patient's correspondence

* Electronic and paper diary management, Outlook diary management

* Answering the phone and dealing with sensitive information

* Point of contact from various departments in the hospital

* Previous high level secretarial/PA experience, demonstrates accurate typing

* Adding patients onto the waiting list adhering to Referral to Treatment (RTT) targets

* Highly organised and high attention to detail and excellent communication skills essential

* Supervising Band 2 & 3 support secretaries
