Job summary

Part time post - 30 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Admin Manager to join our tier 3 plus service providing assessment and treatment for children with intellectual disabilities who pose additional challenges because of their complex behaviour.

The post holder will be responsible for the day to day administrative organisation of the team to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of services.

This role includes but is not limited to, oversight and management of the referral process (Single Point of Entry), being a SystmOne Super User, analysing and reporting activity data, managing HealthRoster and ESR, record requesting, managing and archiving and administration support to a team of 12 clinicians.

There is also an expectation to organise, attend and minute meetings both internally and externally along with other admin staff and to manage telephone enquiries.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will possess a high level of organisational skills, be punctual and reliable.

They will need to be an effective communicator; evidenced by their excellent verbal and written skills. The post holder will be expected to manage other administration staff and monitor and delegate their work.

They will need to be adept at using a range of office software and develop and implement new administrative processes in response to service need. They will be responsible for the upkeep of various staff and non-clinical IT systems and for maintaining and ordering office supplies and equipment.

  • RSA III /OCR qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills. NVQ III in Business and Administration or equivalent knowledge and skills.
