Job summary
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join an experienced and dynamic team on Ward 30.
This is a unique opportunity to join the team at a band 6 level and help to lead this team through the ever changing dynamic that is surgery at present.
We are looking for an experienced nurse who is an effective communicator, who can support the senior sister and existing band 6 team to lead this ward moving forward. Adapting to the changing environments and supporting the staff to continue to deliver the high standard of patient care that is currently in place on the ward.
Surgical or Gynaecology experience would be desirable for any applicants.
Main duties of the job
In surgery team work is essential to ensure we offer a high quality service, with the aim of ensuring clinical outcomes are excellent, patients are safe and staff are skilled and productive. We aim to exceed the expectations of our patients and their families.
Ward 30 is a 19 bedded ward that takes admits patients on the elective and emergency pathway.
Ward 30 focus on General Surgical, Urology, ENT and Gynaecology specialities as well as having a dedicated early pregnancy and gynaecology assessment unit.
Ward 30 is an area that is used to change and as such this is a fast paced, dynamic ward that prides itself on looking after all surgical specialities.
