Clinical Digital Documentation Lead

Job summary

The Clinical Digital Documentation Lead will oversee the digitisation of paper-based documentation and the management and optimisation of existing digital documentation processes within the Trust. The postholder will develop strategies to harmonise different approaches to digital record-keeping, and work with internal and external governance partners to review and adopt policies and standards that supports high-quality patient records, and digital documentation best practices.

Main duties of the job

Spearhead the review of paper-based forms submitted by different teams during the Paper2Pixel event.

This would involve a collaborative approach to standardising a document by working with different governance groups including the Digital Clinical Approval Group (DCAG), Clinical Documentation Approval Group, Clinical & Service Leads, Clinical & Non-clinical staff/Superusers, Digital Champions, Projects, Systems, Transformations, Health Records, and Patient Participation/Patient Experience Group in both UHDB and CRH.
