Job summary

We are searching for a new team member to join our recruitment service at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust covering a 12 month secondment and contracted to 30 hours per week.

You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Recruitment Team, with specific responsibilities for medical and dental staff recruitment ensuring the provision of a high quality recruitment and appointment service for the Trust.

Main duties of the job

You will need a good standard of education, including GCSE or equivalent in English, European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent in typing and word processing and excellent Microsoft Office skills. You will need demonstrable experience in an administrative role and Medical recruitment knowledge is ideal but not essential as full training will be provided.You will be a team player but have the ability to work independently, will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with an ability to prioritise their own workload and manage time effectively in a busy office.

  • Working knowledge of a wide range of secretarial procedures including use of email, internet, filing systems and Microsoft Office packages

  • Previous experience in delivering recruitment or HR services in an office environment
  • Working knowledge of recruitment/employment legislation and good practice such as equal opportunities
