Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 5 Dermatology Nurse to join our team for 18 month secondment opportunity. This will be Part time 30 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Dermatology Outpatients Department, based at Queens Hospital, Burton. Our team consists of a Lead Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Dermatology Registered Nurses, Dermatology Healthcare Support workers and 7 Consultant Dermatologists.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties of the job includes:

  • Working as part of the Dermatology Team to assist in the smooth daily running of the department.
  • Nurse led clinics-including, Skin surgery, Light Therapy, patch testing, Botox and Iontophoresis.
  • Scrub Nurse duties assisting with skin surgery.
  • Supporting Consultant and Doctor led clinics
  • Ensuring patients / carers and visitors are supported throughout their visit to Dermatology
