Job summary
University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust welcomes applications for this Digital Education Trainer role. The right person for the role would be passionate about digital skills training and willing to make a positive difference in our digital training delivery.
This exciting opportunity is within the Digital Education and Training team and will be integral to the Trust's implementation of the new Maternity Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Clinical system. You will be responsible for creating high quality training and delivering training courses using different platforms to suit different learning styles. Ensuring Maternity staff use the system required to fulfil their job roles efficiently and effectively.
You will educate Maternity staff to effectively utilise new technology which may alter their existing ways of working and influence their attitude towards Digital in a positive way and support them successfully through the changes.
You will have experience in training development and delivery to staff of all levels with key skills in developing high quality training materials. This is a very exciting time for our team as we support the Trust on its Maternity EPR implementation, and this role is pivotal to success.
The ability to travel to across sites will be required.
Main duties of the job
- Undertaking the development, planning, preparation and delivery of end user training sessions and materials for the Badgernet system.
- Create high quality, engaging and targeted eLearning including storyboarding, promoting best practice, data quality and information governance requirements, ensuring colleagues have met their course objectives.
- Develop and adapt engaging, efficient and effective, interactive, quality assured eLearning resources, using design software.
- Deliver interactive virtual training to groups of colleagues both on Trust clinical systems and corporate applications.
- Assessment of training needs, develop, review and improve training programmes.
- Deliver and support training courses so that colleagues have the competence to use the system effectively. Record accurate attendance on the Learning Management System (LMS).
