Job summary
University Hospitals of Derby and Burton have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and approachable Erostering Facilitator to join the Trust's busy and dynamic Erostering Team.
The Erostering Team are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Trust's electronic rostering system (Allocate HealthRoster) across all staffing groups. This involves training and supporting staff in the use of HealthRoster, reporting, trouble-shooting, solving queries and more.
The E-rostering Facilitator role will provide support for the E-rostering Senior Administrators whilst facilitating implementation of the HealthRoster roll out throughout all staffing groups across the Trust. You will assist the E-rostering Managers in continuous service improvement, pro-actively leading on key projects to ensure both the roll out and maintenance of the system are efficient, standardised and aligned to Trust strategy. A sound working knowledge of staffing rosters and experience of working with an electronic rostering system are essential, together with strong customer service skills and experience of working with staff at all levels.
The role is fast-paced and varied and requires a passion for problem-solving plus the ability to prioritise multiple competing priorities.The role will suit a highly motivated, forward thinking individual who is keen to develop their skills further and promote effective rostering principles whilst improving service delivery.
Main duties of the job
In depth support to E-rostering system users, liaising with staff at all levels and across all staffing groups
Provide day to day support to the E-rostering Senior Administrators, providing advice and guidance in relation to complex issues and queriesLeading on implementation of the rostering system across all staffing groups
Supporting E-rostering Managers with efficiencies for both system and service to ensure rosters are created based on accurate, validated information, and maintained via a robust review process
Planning, managing and reporting on key projects as required
Chairing and leading meetings/training across all staffing groups, providing relevant documentation to support delivery
Advanced use of electronic rostering system ensuring continuous alignment with Trust vision
Proactively seeking process improvements to benefit both service and end user
