Job summary
To work in support of Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Medical staff taking forward the Essence of Care Philosophy, delivers a high standard of care in a safe environment that meets the patients' needs whilst maintaining privacy and dignity.
Main duties of the job
The hours are 37.5 per week and you will participate in a shift system which covers 7 days per week.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual is required for this exciting post. You will be working as part of a small team, you will work closely with ward Nurses, Medical Staff and other Support Staff to ensure our patients receive the best possible care on wards at the Royal Derby Hospital.
NVQ level 2 in Healthcare is desirable and applicants must have previous healthcare experience and be proficient in undertaking Venepuncture with demonstrable experience. You will be committed to helping maintain patients' safety, privacy and dignity by demonstrating a caring attitude and want to make a difference to our patients' experience.
