Job summary

Our Oral & Maxillofacial service is looking for a locally employed Specialty Registrar until August 2023.

The role will involve clinic, minor ops and theatre work, including independent activity and supporting consultant-led activity in our busy clinical areas. On-call duties are included within this role and it would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further their experience in OMFS services.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of a 4-person registrar/fellow team supporting our unit with all types of clinical activity relating to Oral & Maxillofacial services. Weekly tasks include outpatient clinics, independent minor ops, independent daycase, assisting consultant-level (including head and neck cancer) main theatre surgical activity, on-call, educating junior rotational staff and all other expected registrar level tasks.
