We are looking for two passionate, motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapists who share our values to deliver exceptional patient care to join our well established band 6 respiratory rotation.
If you are a physiotherapist with a broad range of rotational experience with a keen interest in respiratory physiotherapy then we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will rotate every 9 months across a variety of respiratory settings which include:
- Intensive care, HDU and maxillo-facial surgery.
- A&E and the Medical Assessment Unit.
- Respiratory Medicine, including our respiratory wards and HDU's.
- Community impACT+ (including respiratory outpatient clinics and home visits)
- Community impACT+ (including pulmonary rehabilitation)
You will carry a caseload of patients in each area with a variety of respiratory conditions delivering a high standard of physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
You will support and supervise band 5 colleagues, therapy assistants and students.
You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car to accommodate the community rotations.
You will be required to take part in our emergency oncall rota and 7 day weekend respiratory cover which will involve working at weekends with days off in the week.
