Radiology Secretary

Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to work closely with the Radiology site leads and managers.The Radiology department is looking to recruit an experienced secretary who can provide secretarial assistance to the Radiology Site LeadManagers.

The secretary will provide support to the managers and Leads managing Health Roster, ESR, and providing day to day adminsupport. You will also be responsible for managing diaries, producing documents for staff such as HR letters and minute-taking meetings.

The postholder will ensure staff are aware of outstanding mandatory training and ensure staff adhere to completion as part of the Trust policy.The secretary will liaise with the Human Resources advisor to arrange meetings when required and provide admin support to ensure all relevantletters are typed up and shared with the unit managers prior to sending out.

You will also be required to arrange travel & accommodation on occasion for Managers and other designated staff members as required.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Radiology site leads and managers; staff, patients and visitors.

This will include managing Health Roster, ESR, Therefore, updating risk assessments, preparing HR meeting and typing up invite and outcomeletters.

To facilitate good communication with other wards and departments involved in patient care or ward/departmental functioning.

To ensure clear channels of communication are maintained within the multi-disciplinary teams.

The postholder will ensure staff are aware of outstanding mandatory training and ensure staff adhere to completion as part of the Trust policy.The secretary will liaise with the Human Resources advisor to arrange meetings when required and provide admin support to ensure all relevantletters are typed up and shared with the unit managers prior to sending out.

You will also be required to arrange travel & accommodation on occasion for Managers and other designated staff members as required.

The postholder will be required to travel between all Trust sites on a regular basis, supporting the site leads managers. You will be allocated two base sites to support (WGH and NSECH) therefore will be required to travel between to build and maintain relationships with the staff and leads. The secretary will be required to provide cover when the NTGH/HGH Radiology secretary is on leave..
