Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award winning Infection Prevention and Control Team. The post holder will work in a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Infection Prevention and Control Nurses,/Practitioners, microbiologists, BMS staff and administration staff to provide professional advice to all disciplines of staff relating to Infection Prevention and Control Practice and Policies. The post holder will be responsible for promoting and developing the field of infection prevention and control through creating and maintaining a culture of effective health care among Trust staff. Daily tasks include surveillance; training, audit and assisting in the management of outbreaks of infection. Ensuring that these are implemented, delivered and evaluated in line with governmental directives.
