This is an exciting developmental opportunity under Annex 20 for a band 5 nurse to work towards band 6 competencies. Achieving band 6 competencies will enable you to transition into a band 6 role.
It's a rare opportunity to join our friendly Community Learning Disability Team in North Tyneside. Our team is a large well established and supportive multi disciplinary team offering holistic health care to children and adults who have a learning disability living in North Tyneside.
The Ideal candidate will have an understanding of National and Local Policies relating to the management of people with learning disabilities.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be welcomed as a member as a member of the friendly, community learning disabilities team in Northumbria Health Care Trust offering regular team meetings, robust support and supervision, and a commitment to continued professional development.
As an integral part of North Tyneside Community Learning Disability Team, the post holder will be solely responsible for a personal caseload including assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of care.They will be passionate about working in collaboration with service users, their family, carers and professional colleagues in order to enhance health and wellbeing, to prevent or reduce behaviour that challenges.
