Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Health and Care Academy team in a senior clinical lecturer role to support the delivery of BSc Professional Pathway modules and the Enhanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship programme.
The post holder, who will be an accomplished educator, will work with the Programme Lead in the delivery of academic programmes in Partnership with the University of Sunderland. This senior role is key in ensuring the trust is the best place to work and train by educating our current and future workforce.
The post-holder will lead on the delivery, development and provision of the BSc Professional pathway modules and also work alongside the lead of the Enhanced Clinical Practitioner apprenticeship programme in partnership with the University of Sunderland. Delivering on modules including clinical skills, enhanced management and leadership working alongside counterparts at the University of Sunderland. They will also develop learning and teaching related to evidence-based nursing and research theory, leadership and management.

Main duties of the job
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the
creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams/departments and across organisational boundaries.
You will develop the role in relation to student experience, leadership and learning & teaching excellence but also contribute towards the future Research Excellence Framework and Teaching Excellence Framework.

- 1st Level Registered Nurse with effective NMC registration/ Allied health professional with effective HPCP registration /1st Level Registered Midwife with effective NMC registration
