Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for motivated and conscientious individuals to work within our fast paced Recruitment Team within HR Services.

This would be an ideal opportunity for applicants looking to gain some HR experience or those looking to consolidate prior HR learning/experience in a large public sector organisation. We currently one permanent contract available.

This post is offered working on a hybrid model with the majority being office days.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicants will be responsible for administering our full recruitment and selection process including placing adverts, arranging interviews, processing successful candidates pre-employment clearances (including references, DBS checks, ID and Right to Work checks) and issuing contracts of employment.

Applications are invited from candidates who hold excellent communication and organisational skills in order to prioritise a varied workload on a daily basis, alongside those who are able to use their own initiative effectively within a busy working environment.

The post will be based at Northumbria House, Cobalt Business Park but the post holder will be required to work at other sites within the Trust on a regular basis. Therefore they must have the ability to travel to all of our Trust sites to support the delivery of inductions and assessment centres.

  • RSA III /NVQ 3 in Administration or equivalent word processing qualification/experience
  • Proficient in word processing and in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Desirable

  • ECDL

  • Previous experience of working within the NHS.
  • Previous experience / knowledge in HR issues.
