Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursing Assistant, who is committed to compassionate patient care, to join our new team on the procedures unit at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital.

The procedures unit will treat a variety of medical, surgical, orthoepic, gastroenterology, gynaecological and cardiology patients requiring a day case procedure. The successful candidate will be supported within the trust with ongoing training and development, many courses and programmes are available to help employees move forward within their careers.

Main duties of the job

If you have an interest in caring for patients and a commitment to providing high quality nursing care we would like to hear from you.

The role includes provision of personal care, assistance with activities of daily living , monitoring and recording patient observations amongst other nursing duties. Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous, however, there are many opportunities for training and development for the individual who can demonstrate qualities in line with the trust values in providing safe high quality compassionate care.
