Job summary

Exciting Opportunities have arise for Sewing Machinist Apprenticeship at Northumbria Healthcare Facilities.The posts are available to anyone who is i interested d in working with an NHS Manufacturing environment while completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification ( 12 Months).

An Apprenticeship Education Programme is an integrated work based training and development programme, an excellent springboard to start your NHS Career while gaining knowledge and competencies leading to a nationally accredited apprenticeship qualification and possible future career progression.

We are looking for enthusiastic people with a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, positive work ethic and good interpersonal skills. You will require willingness to work as a team, demonstrate motivation, be willing to learn and have the minimum required education.

Main duties of the job

To work under the supervision of a lead machinist/production manager

To attend and participate in structured teaching/ theory sessions to gain the identified educational standard Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Keep accurate records of finished products

Support in the fitting and alternation of uniforms
