There is an exciting opportunity for a Maternity Support Worker to join the Bright Horizons North Northumberland midwifery service. This is a continuity, case loading model to deliver the Better Births vision. This service has teams based in Hillcrest, Alnwick and Berwick. This post is to predominately cover Alnwick, however the successful applicant must be flexible and be prepared to work within other clinical areas within the Trusts' Maternity Services, if required to support service provision.
Main duties of the job
Maternity support workers (MSWs) are an integral part of the maternity workforce and play an important role in supporting midwives and the wider maternity teams, mothers and their babies through pregnancy, labour and during the postnatal period. Providing a safe holistic approach to birth person centred care.
