Job responsibilities

• Analyses, interprets and resolves highly complex business processes, technical and data problems where there is no precedent and recommends innovative solutions where other leading opinions may conflict.
• Must be able to analyse and evaluate highly complex facts or situations requiring analysis, interpretation and comparisons of a range of options.
• Expert understanding of cost/benefit analysis of alternative solutions with the ability to maximise value for money by identifying innovative solutions
• Must be analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to multi-task with excellent organisational skills in a dynamic work environment.
• Be innovative, using the latest technologies.
• Assist with defining the roadmap strategy for both product and bespoke code base platform definition and implementation.
• Testing work thoroughly against specifications and test plans to avoid errors and re-work.
• Analyses performance of the developments in relation to key performance indicators/targets, strategic objectives, developing strategies for the short, medium and long-term business goals, business planning and providing advice where expert opinion differs.
• Accurately estimates the complex resources, associated costs and realistic timescales for activities within the development and wider technical team.

Qualifications

Essential

• Professional knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent experience, and specialist knowledge acquired through post graduate courses & experience to Masters or equivalent level plus in-depth technical and strategic knowledge. Requires developed, in depth specialist knowledge, underpinned by theory and professional experience of disciplines including technical development, Quality Assurance and IM&T service delivery acquired through training and experience over an extended period.
