Job summary
The Account Manager position is a vital role within NEP and the post holders are an integral part of the NEP Team. They are responsible for ensuring NEP remains focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with NEP Clients and key personnel, not only within the NEP team, the NEP Consortium and across the wider NHS but with our Partners and additional service organisations.
Main duties of the job
This role not only includes day to day management of each of the NEP Consortium Organisations accounts but also includes leading specific projects such as mergers and new implementations, as well as conducting internal business reviews to ensure utilisation of the NEP Cloud software is efficient and effective, and where required, the Account Managers should offer additional added value services to increase productivity and reduce costs within the NHS.

NEP is a not-for-profit NHS Consortium that provides a centrally serviced, all-encompassing shared Finance and Procurement Cloud ERP system, that fully supports an ever changing NHS National Agenda as well as incorporating Shared Service opportunities, NHS Procurement Strategy and Future Focus Finance Initiatives.NEP is the largest Consortium within the English NHS, ran by people who really understand and care about the NHS. Our Finance and Procurement Cloud solutions and services have been designed specifically for the NHS by the NHS.It is expected that all Account Managers will have a specialised area of systems expertise as well as a strong knowledge and understanding of all NEP and NEP Partner software applications and solution offerings. Account Managers should also uphold market knowledge of alternative offerings, market trends and NHS National Agenda requirements. This will support the ongoing requirement to provide; On-site Training, Site Reviews, Internal and External Projects, Presentations to Existing and New NEP Consortium Organisations and to manage Key Programme of Work Items.The Account Managers will be predominately involved in leading the corporate marketing for NEP. This will include providing direction and specialised knowledge to underpin the strategic marketing for the full NEP business.
