Job summary
The Communications Officer is a key role within the NEP Team and the post holders play an important and integral part of the NEP Team. They are responsible for the day to day management and distribution of communications and the transmission of key information within the NEP Team and across the full NEP Consortium.
As the Communication and Administration team are typically the first team to come into contact with new and / or perspective clients is essential that the Communications Officer consistently strives to deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with all key personnel, to expand commercial opportunities for both NEP and NEP Partners.
Main duties of the job
It is expected that the Communications Officer would have experience in office management, administration and project support that they can apply to their role. The Communications Officer would also have a strong background in event / project management administration and support as they would be responsible for the project management of the annual NEP Conference along with smaller conferences, marketing events, workshops and webinars throughout the year. They would also be expected to assist with the planning, monitoring and organising aspects of internal and external projects ensuring channels of communication are open.The Communications Officer will act as a point of contact for NEP Consortium members in relation to queries regarding all Networking Forums and Governance Board documents, issues or queries and promptly respond or escalate all issues and concerns reported through them, directly to the Programme Managers / Heads of Service.
