Job summary

We require a Nursing Assistant to join our team at Ward 1 Wansbeck General Hospital.

Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the service needs of our patients which includes weekend and night shifts. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.

Main duties of the job

The team provides safe and high standards of care to all patients throughout their stay on the ward whist assisting in the discharge process, liaising with family members and external agencies.

Candidates must demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards their patients and be able to deliver high standards of care. It is essential to possess good communication and organisational skills.

It would be advantageous to already have a background in healthcare provision, although for the candidate with the correct qualities and values training would be offered.
