Medical Secretary, Band 3
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Vascular department for a Band 3 Medical Secretary. This post is for 30 hours a week over 5 days.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will provide an efficient, confidential and professional secretarial service to the specialty teams, through managing correspondence, handling patient queries and liaising with other healthcare professional in order to support the delivery if Trust activity. This will include administration and secretarial support to enable provision of patient care and speciality services. Good communication with patients, relatives, general practitioners and other hospital staff is essential to ensure a proficient, high-quality service for patients and clinicians.

The Vascular Network provides specialist cover for Gloucester Royal as the hub with Swindon Hospital as a spoke. Both sites are extremely busy and requires energetic but exceptionally organised person to join our specialist team. - Working experience of TRAK/EPR/PACS/Infoflex

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent and accurate attention to detail
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook/Diary management
