Roster Team Administrator, Band 4 (30 hours a week)

The post holder will provide administration and systems support to the Roster Team and wider Trust and will report to the Operational Support Manager.

The role will provide general and system administration support to the implementation and delivery of the Roster system, as well as providing support to a wide range of service users. The post holder will provide day to day assistance via the help desk (video call, telephone and email) and may be required to provide basic navigation workshops.

The successful candidate will join a small team, working closely with the Resourcing Teams, to provide a proactive and supportive service to all staff groups within the organisation. Flexible working requests within service's hours (Mon - Fri 0800 - 1700) will be considered, please raise this during your interview if you wish to explore further.

Main duties of the job

Assist the Operational Support Manager in the organisation of the Roster Team calendar and inbox management.

Provide general project and administrative support to the Roster Team.Support the Roster Team to achieve its objectives and Key Performance Indicators.

Liaise with all staff groups working within the organisation, providing reports and data as/when requested and assisting with basic system support where required.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NVQ 3 within a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Enhanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft office packages e.g., word, excel

Desirable

  • Allocate Certified Administrator or equivalent

Experience

  • Experience of working in a busy administrative environment, delivery a full range of secretarial and administrative procedures
  • Previous experience in organising and planning activities and being able to react to changes as required
  • Previous experience and knowledge of clinical or corporate systems

Desirable

  • Experience of working with database systems, preferably with a rostering system

Knowledge/ Skills

  • Good organisational skills - able to manage busy workload, prioritise work and have a good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislation and is able to use discretion where necessary
  • Ability to produce work of a high presentational standard with a high degree of accuracy
