Medical Secretary, Band 3 (26.5 hours a week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Time (26.5 hours) B3 Medical Secretary position to join our extremely busy yet friendly Oncology team based at Cheltenham General Hospital. (4 days per week)
This important role supports the Outpatient Services in Oncology for Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
You will ideally have secretarial experience and be accustomed to working in a high pressured yet friendly environment.
As a member of the secretarial team, you must possess an excellent work ethic with proven organisational and communication skills.
You will be expected to take responsibility for the workload of a small team of consultants and support the wider secretarial teams as required andunder the supervision of the Supervisor Secretaries.

Our friendly and hardworking Oncology secretarial team supports a large cohort of medical staff including consultant clinical and medicaloncologists, staff grades and advanced nurse practitioners.
