We currently run services in general medical retina, rapid access and emergency medical retina, choroidal naevus, diabetic retinopathy and hydroxychloroquine services. This new position is required for the development of robust clinical pathways and protocols, working with our Band 8a medical retina specialist optometrists to deliver the virtual eye clinic platform. In addition, working with our imaging team and community team to design new ICB funded virtual pathways as recommended by GIRFT and supported by the clinical programme group.

The post is an initial locum post commencing in July 2024 with the view to extend to a substantive post after 12 months.
