Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Resuscitation Department for a Resuscitation and Simulation Officer, Band 6, 0.6wte (22.5 hours per week).
The successful candidate will contribute to the trust-wide development of the department as it seeks to meet the challenges both now and in the future.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable interest in resuscitation and vision for the use of simulation in clinical practice and education.
They will be skilled in the practice of resuscitation and clinical emergencies and will have an interest in education and clinical teaching.
The post also utilises skills in data collection and quality improvement.
About us
The successful applicant will work as part of a small team with the Resuscitation/Simulation Officers and the department administrator to oversee all the functions of the department.
The small team offers a service to all departments and across both sites of the Trust.
There will be a requirement to work some longer days (for nationally recognised courses) and to work flexibly, sometimes at short notice to meet the needs of the service.
