Main duties of the job

Within the role of a Healthcare Assistant the post holder is required to:

- Deliver high quality, compassionate care and deliver this safely within a challenging and changing clinical environment, using equipment and resources as appropriate.

- Have proficient attitudes and behaviors compatible with the Trust and NHS Values.

- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual.

- Carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, including personal cares.

- Will be required to work within the recognised Manual Handling Guidelines.
