This Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and become part of the Diagnostics and Specialists Management Service.

This apprenticeship is suitable for anyone with a desire to learn and develop their customer service skill and administrative skills with a view to beginning a career in the NHS and gain a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship.

Main duties of the job

The Apprentice will be working in a busy office environment supporting other directors/managers within the Division. You will need to be efficient, helpful and friendly. This role needs you to be organised and able to work accurately with an attention to detail. You will be required to have good typing skills and able to use IT programmes.

Following training, the apprentice will be required to work on their own initiative to ensure effective customer service.

The successful applicant will be supported in the work place by a mentor under the direction of wider PA Team, as well as support & training from other members of the Team

About us

The Management Team is headed up by senior rolesthat consist of Chief of Servicesupported by Director of Operations, Divisional Chief Nurse, Divisional Director of Scientific Staff and Deputy Director of Operations and OPD.

The Diagnostic and Specialties Division (D&S)encompasses the following supportive enabling services, Radiology, Pathology, Oncology, Pharmacy, Health Psychology and SWMS, Nuclear Medicine, Therapy and Dietetics.

To help with supporting our services post covid recovery we are looking for someone who has a positive outlook with excellent Microsoft IT skills to support and drive some of the quality metrics required and assist in promoting all of the great initiatives undertaken within the Division and a general willingness to learn new IT programmes, such as Procurement systems and Nursing roster programme.
