Job summary

To provide the administrative support within the Vaccination Clinics to ensure we can fulfil the requirement for vaccinating all eligible patients.

Main duties of the job

To work with the Immunisation Team Lead to ensure the efficient and effective day to day operation of the vaccination clinics.

Job description

Job responsibilities

  • A-C GCSEs or equivalent level of skills
  • Experience and skills in using the standard range of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • A professional telephone manner and ability to provide an excellent level of customer care
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and workload
  • Ability to work on own initiative independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working in a busy customer facing environment.

Flexibility to work 7 days a week including evenings

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • To provide the administration within the immunisation clinic.
  • Ensure that all documentation is up to date and fit for purpose
  • To undertake diary maintenance and deal with all incoming and outgoing correspondence and e-mails for the immunisation clinic.
  • To provide support to the Vaccination Lead as may be defined.
  • To be fully conversant with the immunisation team and associated processes.
  • Ensure that all Covid Vaccination pod records are kept up to date and accurate
  • To attend COVID meetings as required and progressing actions where necessary.
  • To have a full understanding of the COVID vaccination hub roles and work flexibly to ensure delivery across the various functions.
  • Maintain full and accurate audit trail and documentation of decisions.

  • To utilise databases and to record and monitor information.

Commitment to the highest standards is crucial, as is attention to detail, pro-activity, enthusiasm and the ability to get things done promptly and accurately to tight deadlines.

To perform other duties that are delegated which may be appropriate to the post and which contribute to the running of the centre.
