An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistants to provide Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy intervention to patients within the Medicine team including older peoples medicine.
Experience of both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy is beneficial as the successful candidates will be working closely with qualified staff from each profession.
We are looking for well-motivated individuals who have excellent communication skills. They should be passionate about maximising quality of life, preventing deconditioning, promoting wellbeing and enabling people to maintain functional independence.
Training and support will be provided and the successful individuals will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team.

Main duties of the job
The ideal candidates will;
- Have experience working with patients with both a physical and cognitive decrease of function
- Have an good understanding of the role of the occupational therapist and physiotherapist within an acute hospital setting
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
