We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated ambitious individual to gain experience in surgery for congenital heart disease.
This post is to commence 1 July 2025 for 12 months.
The appointee will join a department of three surgeons and eight cardiologists providing surgical care for paediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease and will be expected to undertake all forms of paediatric and adult congenital cardiothoracic surgery. It is expected that the appointee will contribute to training and audit in the department and excellent facilities for research are available in the University.

To take responsibility for admission examination, daily review of patients, handover, arrangement of necessary examinations and communication with consultant staff.
To take part in the teaching and training of junior staff.
