An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the team as Retail Assistant to help shape the retail offer of Newcastle Hospitals Charity.
You will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for retail and for health and wellbeing who will work closely with a range of colleagues and volunteers and provide a high standard of customer care to patients, visitors and staff.

- A retail assistant to support in the effective and efficient day to day operation of the retail shop.
- To ensure that duties are conducted in a safe, hygienic, timely manner and to ensure records are maintained.
- To exercise judgement in response to stock turnover, stock rotation and food wastage
- Demonstrate flexibility and work in any area of the department if needed.

Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate. The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
