An exciting opportunity have arisen within the Service Improvement Team for a Project Officer who will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of projects within the programme portfolio to the required quality and standard.

Main duties of the job
The Project Officer will actively assist the management of the full project life cycle with a significant focus on change management and service modernisation. You will be educated to post graduate degree level or equivalent level of qualification or experience.

Job responsibilities
- Responsible for the management and successful delivery of projects within the programme portfolio to the required quality and standard.
- Oversee all aspects of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure of projects within the portfolio
- Provide project management skills on a range of projects across the organisation, which include the Trusts strategic priorities
- Acts as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure projects remain within timescales
- Lead, motivate and develop the project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment
- Analyse data to understand trends and potential opportunities
- Project planning skills to display and track progress
- Maintaining and updating project reports and RAID logs as part of governance processes
- Harnessing current ways of working, particularly pertaining to a standardised way of mobilising, monitoring and delivering NuTH projects
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, by evaluating ways of working, outcomes, and identifying lessons learnt to implement improvements
- Provide support and guidance within a line management capacity and within the wider team
