Job summary

An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our cutting-edge simulation team.

We have two simulation centres one at the RVI the other based at the Freeman Hospital where we deliver and facilitate high quality simulation training. This gives hands on practical skills training to a wide range of staff across the Trust based on real life clinical scenarios.

You will be pivotal in the administration of the Simulation Centres. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills with an ability to adapt quickly to changing demands. As we set up and use clinical equipment clinical experience would be desirable but not essential. You will have a basic understanding of audio-visual equipment but there will be scope within the role to develop both this and moulage skills.

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for the administration of the Simulation Centres
  • Responsible for the booking of courses
  • Responsible for monitoring stock levels and ordering when needed.
  • Ensure that all teaching resources for courses are ready.
  • Ensure that rooms are set up prior to a course running and cleared away following the course.
  • Assist in the running of simulation courses both in the centres and in situ.
