Job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to provide efficient and effective administrative and clerical support to the Community Directorate Senior Management Team currently based at the Geoffrey Rhodes Centre, Byker. This is a full time post.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate should have an NVQ Level 3 in business administration or equivalent qualification / experience. They will also provide, administrative, and clerical support including good computing and keyboard skills, minute taking and diary management skills.

- Supervise, and develop other clerical staff when required.
Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.

- Good standard of education - Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and organisation skills. (Good telephone manner)

- Experience of working within an administrative setting.
- Experience of working with information technology.
